After years in an industry that often prioritised fees over clients, our founder, Dawn, set out to create a different kind of service, one built on transparency, education, and fierce client advocacy.

The Spark of a New Approach

In the 1990s, Dawn, a law clerk passionate about property investment, saw firsthand how the legal industry could be confusing and expensive for everyday people. She started helping friends with their property transactions, making complex concepts easy to understand and fighting tirelessly for their best interests. Her dedication and expertise quickly earned her a reputation in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs, and soon, peers were seeking her advice. This early success proved a new, more client focused model was possible.

Today, our team of eight professionals across Victoria proudly upholds that original vision, serving thousands of clients with the same level of care and thoroughness that started it all.

About Our Director and CEO

Trent is a Global Award Winning Business Growth and Leadership Trainer/Coach whose 2 simple rules of leading and growing businesses are; 1) Be curious, and 2) be congruent (practise what you preach).

He took over the running of Skilled Conveyancing in Jan 2023 and is super excited to make the business even stronger and expand its operations to support clients all over Victoria (and soon to be NSW).

Trent has a long family history founding and growing this business, it is now time for Trent to take it to the next level for our amazing team and our loyal client base, to ensure they are guided during a very stressful time of their life, when buying and selling their property.

When not running Skilled Conveyancing, Trent can be found working on his cattle fattening farm in the NE of Victoria, playing golf or riding his adventure motorbike in the mountains with mates.
